9th August - Legends match - Major Raffle Draw - photos
The
Legends impressed all with their skill level on and off the field.
Congratulations to Sebsie's team who took out the cup for the second
year in a row, and to Shaggart's team for making them work hard for it.
Congrats also to Cliff and Matt both being best on ground for
their respective teams.
The night took on a bit of a musical theme with drinks flowing and food in abundance.
Come On Baby Light My Fire...no not The Doors....but a very famiilar face at the club was advised that if they REALLY had to set someone on fire it was in the club's best interest not to set a committee member alight; thanks to the bystanders who helped put him out and those who thought the building was on fire and alerted bar staff.
Joe Cocker's Leave Your Hat On will never be same after a couple of impromtu strippers took to the floor.....there are a few hats available FREE if anyone is interested please email info@eatonboomers.com.au
The Limbo proved to be the making of many. Only 1 knee, 2 backs and a few bruises have been reported.
There are likely to be some very sore people Sunday with a number of injuries sustained on the field and dance floor. But some rally while others flake, and the stayers were still at the club finishing the keg Sunday afternoon.....on ya guys.
Congratulations to the raffle winners: 1st- Ms Downes, 2nd - Mr Roberts, 3rd - Mr Buchanan

11 July - Quiz Night
Great prizes, some tricky questions and exceptionally talented participants made a great night. Thanks to the Eaton Tavern and other sponsors for their support.
6 June - Horror Night - photos

A few thrills and chills made a great night at the club. The leader of the pack demonstrated a few interesting moves with his little bit of pink fluff and it's said he will forever be known as 'Fluffy'. A young colt made an appearance and although he was a couple of weeks late for the cup, he showed fine form on the dance floor. Missing in action was Big Mal who is currently laid up having his own horror show in hospital; our thoughts are with you Mal. The crowd partied into the next day with some partygoers taking Rests In the Props!
A few items were lost and found on the night. Please email info@eatonboomers.com.au if you can help:
Lost: 1 necklace, 34 hours, a couple of wigs, a few zillion brain cells, 1 pair of ladies black boots, the way home
Found: 1 new romance, the fact that drinking makes you dance soooooo much better, new friends, and old friends who you thought could drive........
23 May - Boomer Cup - photos
Congratulations to all the winners and grinners at the Boomer Cup. Although the track was heavy and conditions both inside and out very damp, some fine fillys and colts performed well. A few old stallions and mares surprised everyone as they held their own on the track, at the bar and with their staying ability on the dance floor.
The word is, that due to the extremely wet conditions a couple of stallions ended up in the wrong stable at the end of the night. Hopefully they'll get fed when they find their own stable in the morning.
9 May - Players Auction - photos

The Players Auction was a fantastic night well supported by sponsors, members and players as well as being an excellent fundraiser for the Club. All auction lots saw competitive bidding by both individuals and syndicates.
The 'Speedo Boys', see above (with their clothes on), kept the crowd entertained by giving a glimpse of what the bidders would be getting for their money.
11 April - Jumper Presentations

The Oelsnator presented jumpers to the league squad
